Refund policy

We want you to feel great about every ethicali purchase, but we also understand that sometimes things don’t work out - and that’s okay! If you need to make a return, we’ve made the process as simple and transparent as possible. Below you'll find everything you need to know about how to return an item, what qualifies, and what to expect.

You have 30 days from the date of purchase to return your item. To qualify for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition as when you received it, and in its original packaging.

Please note that certain items cannot be returned, including:
- Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers)
- Newspapers or magazines
- Intimate or sanitary items
- Hazardous materials
- Flammable liquids or gases
- Gift cards
- Downloadable software
- Certain health and personal care items

Only regular-priced items are eligible for a refund. Unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

To process your return, please send the item back to us along with your receipt or proof of purchase.

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you via email. If your refund is approved, we’ll process it and apply a credit to your original method of payment within a few days.

If you haven’t received your refund yet, please check your bank account and contact your credit card company as processing times can vary. If you still haven’t received your refund, reach out to us at support@ethicali.co.

We replace items only if they are defective or damaged. To exchange an item, please email us at support@ethicali.co.

If your item was marked as a gift at the time of purchase and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit once the returned item is received. If the gift wasn’t marked, or if the giver had it shipped to themselves, the refund will go to the gift giver.

You are responsible for covering your own shipping costs for returns. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the return shipping cost will be deducted.

For items valued over $75, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.
